I have a Land Rover 110 and the fog light fuse had blown so i replaced it with the 8 amp fuse and as soon as the fog light is put on the fuse blows. I tried putting a 25 amp fuse in and it did not blow but the fog light still didn't work. Has any one had the same problems? Any ideas anyone?

Have you tried changing the bulb?

Sounds like you've got a short in the fog lamp circuit somewhere at a guess... could be the bulb, first thing to check anyway.  If it's not the bulb, it could be the bulb holder is corroded badly - if that's the case it usually makes getting the bulb out a bit more difficult so you could probably take that as a pointer if it's a pig to remove.

Let me know if that checks out ok and I'll see what else I can come up with.

Cheers,

I have checked the bulb and buld holder, also removed it completly each time testing the fog light and still its blowing the fuse. I have also checked the the switch itself but still the same problem. As you said i think its a short in the circuit.

Hey, Just thought I'd put my two cents in.  I have a 110 also and had the same problem.  It ended up being in the switch.   Sometimes it worked sometimes it didn't.   I replaced it and it went away.
