I had a question on how long it takes to change the front and rear bags on a 01 HSE RR. I dont have a lift just 4 jack stands and 2 floor jacks. Any special tools needed or any tips on how to do the job faster.

Thanks

James

To change my front bags, I raised the body using a hyd jack located just to the rear of the front wheel where the tube frame begins to bend upwards. Once the body was quite high, I then used the RR supplied jack and located it under the front axle near the side I would be working on. I used that jack to raise the axle up just a few inches to be able to remove the wheel / tire. In this configuration, you can then bleed off the air to the bag and nothing will move. Then, just change the bag. Each front bag took me about 30-45 minutes.
Never had to do the rears yet !
