i am a newbie to this rover biz but i think i know what this might be, i can push down on front of truck and it will bounce three or four times, worn shocks,struts? also there is a plug with two or theee prongs hanging down in wheel well front pass side, any idea what this might be?

its proberly the abs plug or your disk pad sensor

How many miles on your truck? Sounds like you suspension is shot, not a big problem though to fix.
The plug that you see is it a standard 110 volt plug like from an engine heater?

yes on the heater plug look alike, and yes the suspension is shot!!!! but no biggie, where might that pad sensor/ abs sensor plug at/into?

hey mike if you are asking me if the plug looks like the end that you would plug into you house for the engine heater the answer is no it doesn't look like that end, now if your talking 'bout the plug that goes to the heater in the block then yes it kinda looks like one of those, it has very small male prongs
