New to the Forum. Hello all. I have a 2003 Discovery and have my eye on the EMU 2" lift kit. I took her off roading 3 weeks ago with a Land Rover dealer organized event and had a blast. I was the only Disco amongst LR3's and believe it or not 1 week old RR Supercharged units. 100K is alot of money to be bushwacking, but thats another story. I noticed that I need more clearance for better rock crawling and basically anything in the dirt. The lift kit is a done deal, I am sold. But currently I have 18" wheels and alot of you are saying that 18's are not ideal. The questions- is it worth me selling the 18's and buying 16's? Its a hassle but I will do it if the payoff is considerable. Secondly, would a set of 16's off of a 99 Discovery work, I think they are 16x7 or 16x8. They are on Ebay and its not a bad deal. And Finally, is the on road ride after EMU still ok? This truck will also serve as the family truckster and wife drives it too, I don't want it to be too rough or she will be mad, and thats bad.... Thanks for any input.

Because there are so many 2" lift combination from OME, you might want to call me and I will try and point you in the right direction. As for the wheels, yes 16" wheels gives you a much better range of tire to choiose from and many times you can fiend people willing to take your 18" wheel in exchange fot a good set of factory 16X8 wheels. Call me, Mike 303-862-7680
