Seems like people are having alot of minor problems with 05 CPO LR3. Also seems like they are worked out easily and some are even fixed from the previous owners. So, this shouldnt discourage me should it? I really dont want to buy a car and have it in the shop every other week, is this going to happen?

The 05's did come with a few bugs that, as you say, by now should have been worked out fairly easily by the dealers. There are the very few exceptions here and there and unfortunately they would be the loudest ones, but overall I think the LR3 is a great vehicle. I own an 06 and I would certainly buy another anyday.

I am with Jantiz on this one. The 05's have had some issues, primarily because they were a quantum leap in technology for Land Rover. But any vehicle that has the various TID's and regular service should be fine for the most part. I have over 51k miles on mine, with many offroad miles as well as onroad miles. Love the vehicle, as it is so versatile, yet it has the power to be fun on the road. Despite the various issues that have cropped up, the amount of service required on my LR3 has been 20% of the service needs of my '99 Disco II, that I could not wait to get rid of. I swore I would not own another Land Rover...until I drove the LR3, and it has so far exceeded my expectations of a versatile 4x4 vehicle that I am glad I jumped right in. If you love the Land Rover lifestyle, this is the vehicle for the outdoors....
