Hi Happy Land Rover Owners!

Has anyone wondered about making a new Range Rover 2008, from 2005 model (Exterior Only)?
I mean, what if just change all exterior parts to a new one's (head and tail lights, front and side intake grills, bumpers)?
Will it all fit?
Please Answer Me!
Many Thanks!

Hi there,

Changing the headlights would be expensive. They run around $900 each. The front grill cannot be updated unless you update the headlights because they curve into the grill. The grill can be changed to the supercharged grill but not the 2007 HSE grill. What you can do to change the look of your 2005 to 2007 same as 2008 is change the rear tailights (plug and play), change the side markers from orange to white and then change the side vents from two vents to the three vents (just held by screws). You can change the look to an HSE or Supercharged. Hope this helps.

Where can you purchase the rear tailights?  Thanks.  Also, there is a way to get the SC grill without changing the front headlights.  You have to buy a pre-modified SC grille.  www.simmonites.com has them.

Don't want to sound like a "downer" here, but what's the point?  You might be able to somewhat change the exterior look of your 2005, but it won't be the Supercharged, and it won't be complete.  Or am I missing something?

You're right, you won't make your car go faster...but it will update the look of your car to a newer model...some people just like the look of the supercharged grill

Does anyone know how to take out the side vents from an '04 Range Rover HSE?  I can get the top screw out, but how in the world can I get to the bottom screw out (if there are any??)?

100% possible!!!!!!!!!!1

no joke, i considered it and the reason was for looks not performance...!

#1 The lights can be switched to an 06' simply by fusing the proper wires together. You will need the light connector from an 06'+, or just take it to an electrictian..."if he's half smart, he'll see the solution"
#2 Purchase a stock 06' bumper or aftermarket or ask overfinch if they have any left over from previous projects. Including brackets N' wat not...
#3 The dealer will tell you that since the 03-05" has a BMW engine, the frame & brackets & B.S. will not fit the 06' bumper! NOT TRUE! "haters"
#4 Or you can keep your old bumper, go to a 06'+ and  apply a clay template with some measurements & cut that groove the 06+' has. Or just pay a bodyshop to do it for you...
#5 Purchase your front grill & side vents. Walahhhhh... You have your self an 06+ Rova!
