92 classic brake light

when i apply brakes the lite comes on for split second then goes off, this does not affect the brakes that i have noticed would could be causing this?

Are you saying all your brake lights go off? How about if you hit the brakes a couple of times, will they come on and then go right off? Probably the first place to look would be the brake switch located on the brake pedal arm.

Is your brake fluid low, that will cause the dash light to go on and off?
