Classic Rear Differential - 8/20/2007 3:42:03 PM    Classic89   Posts: 45 Joined: 8/8/2007 Status: offline I am going to replace my rear differential and I am wondering how hard it would be to just install it myself I am trying to cut down on costs? Post #: 1

RE: Classic Rear Differential - 8/20/2007 5:10:17 PM    Classic89   Posts: 45 Joined: 8/8/2007 Status: offline the rear differential case has a small hole so I am going to get it welded over and then replace the rear differential with a 3rd memeber? 3rd memeber rear diffs. are the only ones that I have seen online is that what you would suggest doing? If you have to replace the 3rd. member, that is pretty easy and no speial skills are involved, have you found one yet? _____________________________ Mike Retired service manager. I found one on ebay from a range rover dealer. would you have any suggestions on other places to go. (in reply to Disco Mike) Post #: 5
