well, if i didn't live in texas and maybe singapore, that might be a good idea. nice to hear from you. welcome to the site. correct me if i am wrong, isn't it illegal to spit in singapore? i have heard this and was curious to see how true it is. i do know that y'all are the smallest country right? also the cleanest country right?

Lots of myths out there about singapore. I think it may be illegal to spit on the sidewalk, but that's also illegal in NYC. I guess it's a matter of enforcement. It's not the smallest country - Vatican City, Monaco, and about 20 others are smaller, but it's definately down near the end of the list. It is very clean though, for a country that is mainly urban. And quite green, especially for an Asian city. And not a big traffic problem compared to most of Asia. The cost of cars contributes to that. (Where else in the world would it cost $150,000 to buy a Defender Station Wagon?) Cheers Ray
