Hello gang!! New Rover owner from Virginia Beach, VA. Recently purchased a 1999 Range Rover 4.6 HSE in Niagra Grey. So far I love it!! Looking forward to learning from you seasoned Rover veterans here.

Hey Jeff
From one newbie to another welcome.
I sent a question to this forum earlier about a cd system problem but no response. Have you got a users manual that details how you set up the Random Selection program for the CD and, more importantly, how you can deactivate it? Hope yopu enjoy your RR. We do even though at $1.35 a litre the petrol bill starts mounting up!!!
Thanks
Sarge

Thanks for the welcome Sarge! I do have an owners manual. I'll try to take a look at it tonight and see what it says about the "Random" setting. Is this for an in-dash CD player, or a CD changer?

Appreciate that. We've got the CD changer in the rear of the car.
Cheers

My Rover came from an independent dealer here in Va Beach. It was last owned and serviced in Richmond. I am probably 3hrs or so from DC. The local Rover dealership here in Va Beach is Phillips.

I just traded in my '97 Disco for a new '05 RR, so I don't have the manual anymore, but I think the "RND" random setting can be changed by pressing and holding the Mode button. On my old rig, I then had the option of selecting random and scan. I hope this works.
