RR Sport HSE 19" - Snow Tires?

Jason11978 -> RR Sport HSE 19" - Snow Tires? (9/9/2007 4:24:15 PM)

I just picked up my RR Sport HSE yesterday which has the stock 19" Conti's.

In prep for winter, I'd like to get my snow tires purchased and ready to go - does anyone have any recommendations for dedicated 'snow' tires?

I appreciate your help!

I can't remember the name of the tires, but there are, I believe, 2 different snow tires out of Germany or the Netherlands. Wish I could be of more help, you might talk to someone who has been in the tire businees for awhile, they should be able to help you.
A warning, they are expensive, but will last thru many snow seasons and can not be equalled and when your knee deep in snow, no tire is too expensive.

         If you haven't sorted this yet, maybe take a look on 'rangerovers.net' - they have a few threads relating to this.
I know that Nokian tires come out well and seem to be extending their range of sizes to fit LRs.
Personally, I use pro comp ats.

Vredestein? It's a Dutch company. They make Wintrac and Snowtrac tires - both are great in light snow and slush
