What are you going to use it for? if it is just for looks, just remember a full size roof rack will cost you a 1.5 MPG drop.

Roof racks are there as many types as there 4x4's.

Prices run from around $600 to $1300 it will depend on what you
will haul fuel, roof top tent, kayaks, bikes, ect.

I have run through most of them and will order the Hannibal
this next month fot a roof top tent and gear.

thanks for the reply mike.  i don't mind the mpg drop at all.  i'm looking for one that will at least cover 3/4 of the roof but preferably all of it.  mostly just want it for storage of general outback gear.  no kayaks or stuff like that.  the wife used to drive the disco but we got her a new outback so it's play time now.  i'm starting with some of the interior/exterior accessories now and hopefully by december have the ARB's in and the lift on.  i've build many off-road rigs over the years including pre-runner trucks and rock crawlers but i'm new to the landrover world. they're much harder to find parts for than the average rig that's for sure.

hey, i couldn't help but notice in this picture http://northwestparts.com/images/Racks/P1010033.JPG  there's steel wheels on that disco. my local tire guy (which could easily be the problem) said he couldn't find any available because of the odd bolt pattern.  all i want is some plain black steel rims. any ideas?

thanks again for your help
