I've done the search on the forums but no definite answer.

What causes the faint sloshing noise that seems to originate behind the glove box? Mine is almost undetectable, but it's there.

Anyone?

air trapped in your cooling system. Bleed it and find where you are leaking.

Most likely due to your coolant level being low. Fill it and bleed it.

open the rad plug and pour coolant in there

You have air trapped in the engine from some leak, park the truck with the front end high, let it cool off, open the bleed screw and the coolant bottle lid, fill theu the coolant bootle till coolant starts coming out the hole then cap of the bleed screw, fill the coolant bottle all the wau to the top and repeat it again 2 days later. mkae sure you only use dexcool and at some point you are then going to need to find your coolant leak before you over heat your engine.

Get you a coolant pressure tester if you can't find any immediate visual leakage. Also pop your oil filler cap and see if it is gooey on the underside of the cap (quick check to see if your leakin in the engine or burning coolant - bad head(s).)

This is a sealed system, thats why you dont have a radiator cap, you need to find a mechanic that can pull a vacuum to do it correctly. Most likely you dont have a leak, just someone has messed with this sealed system before and didnt know what they were doing. I'm sure there might be ways around it but pulling a vacuum to suck the air out is the correct way. hope this helped.

You don't need to take it to a mechanic, just do what DiscoMike said above. You must be new to Rovers, not knowing they are very prone to failing head gaskets and very likely the coolant is leaking out. If a sloshing noise just developes, it is leaking out.

Not to call you out, but check your info....
