Hi I am new here and am about to purchase an 07 LR3 HSE ...love the vehicl and had the pleasure of going to an offroad event with the dealer....Basically got to thrash on the truck without buying it....Great time. Ok my question is I am buying it with lux pkg and sat radio msrp of $56100 and paying 45000 seems like a great deal but I have not shopped another dealer... It is not a loaner and I know the 07's are scarce...So any input would be great....... Also does anyone know if they are discounting the extended warranty????
Thank

Gtokid -
That sounds like a really good deal.
I just picked up an '07 SE and got almost $6,000 off of list.
Not sure on the warranty as I leased for 24 months and the standard on the '07 is 4 years.

Thanks for the reply I was just not sure if I should bother shopping another dealer.. I know it comes with a 4yr 50k warranty, I will be out it before the 4 years therefore I will need to extend....

Congratulations on your new ride!
I have had mine about a month and am very happy with everything so far - no issues to speak of.
Only downside so far is the gas mileage, but I knew that going in.

Have had mine for a year. There have been a couple of very minor issues, all were fixed quickly enough at the dealer. Overall, I would have to admit  this is the first vehicle I have owned in my 41 years that after the first 6 months I was not ready to trade for something else. I am extremely pleased with my LR3 HSE. I am in the military and my position often requires me to do some back country travel in some of the same back trails the military hummers have to travel on with my truck. Everything from river crossings, deep sand,  extremely steep dirt trails, to my daily freeway commute to the office, my LR3 has gotten me there in style. Only once did I get it stuck in some mild mud at the very begining of ownership before I realized how useless the factory tires are on it and changed them out. It's been a dream since. I definitely would and will buy again.

GtoKid,
What state do you live in? It would be wise to call outside your area and speak only with the New Car Sales Manager, not a salesman. Tell him what you are looking at see if they are interested in making you a better deal.

Hey thanks to all for info...was very helpful. I picked up my 07 HSE this past Sunday and love...I never had such luxury heeheheh....Anyway got a great deal at LR Chantilly VA. I can't wait to go off road.. Not many 07's with 0 miles left...they had 1 more in black/alpaca.. $56,100 msrp I paid 45k incl, mats, hitch, roof bars.....I live up in Boston and no one up there had 07's with 0  miles all were loaner cars.
Ok so what is a good tire for this vehicle since I hear so many bad things about the GY's????

Congrats on your purchase.  I just picked up an 05 with 15K miles on it about 3 weeks ago.  I live south of Boston and it's good to see other local users on here.  I would love to know if there are ever any offroading events planned.  I can't wait to use it offroad and see what it was really built for.
