I just wanted to say hello to everyone. I just purchased my first land rover (1995 disco). I do have a question. The land rover already came with the full safari kit on it (front brush guard and full roof rack). The brush guard already has a pair of Hella 500 driving lights on it. I noticed the roof rack has the mounts ready for four of them at the top. Where do most people run the wires to get inside? Drilling necessary? Also, I noticed it has a mount for one on the back of the roof rack. While all the other mounting tabs are for a vertical light install, the back tab is set up vertically (thus, horizontal light?) My question is what do people tend to use on the rear for alternate lighting?

Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated!

a good rover parts vendor (www.roversnorth.com or www.get-rhino.com) should be able to give you the details on instalation.

the back light is probably for being able to see where you're going when reversing in the middle of nowhere

use a good flood or work light on the back, then it will light up a greater area behind you. The tab is vert. cause the light that most people mount back there are work lights and you point them down, not straight out in which the vert. tab alows it to aim down easyer.
