Oil leak... need help!! Service engine light!! - 10/10/2007 11:22:38 AM    hollis   Posts: 50 Joined: 8/23/2007 Status: offline So I have an 02 disco II and there is an oil leak that I think is coming from the valve gaskets... On both sides!  Not a huge leak but I was about a quart low this last oil change..  My wife was driving it when the service engine light came on..  it did not go off after I changed the oil though..  It has never lit up before.. It has about 85,000miles on it which most are highway.  Any suggestions??  Has anyone takeen it to a dealership to get it serviced??  Cost??  Thanks in advance! I am changing my air filter with a k'n tonight when it arrives. I think the old one is pretty clogged, I shook it out and it was pretty dirty.. (in reply to Landzu) Post #: 3
