LRA 376 alternator?

oqdos -> LRA 376 alternator? (10/14/2007 8:10:20 AM)

Hello
The battery light in my 110 2.5 DT goes on when I switch lights or even when indicating. I was told my alternator is on the go. Checked all connections and belt tention is okay.

Found on ebay LRA 376 ANYONE KNOWS IF IT IS GOING TO FIT MY CAR.

Also, how likely is it that it is just the brushes that I need to replace in the alternator.
Thanks a lot.

Okay. It looks like it is 55Amp output. Spear parts websites sell 45Amps for TDs. Any idea if I'm going to f**k up anything if I install the 55Amp istead of 45Amps?
Thanks

You'll be fine with a 55A one in place of a 45A... I've heard of people using the 100A alternator out of a Ford Scorpio as a replacement, particularly if doing a lot of winch work.
