Hang on to your Wallets !!!! - 10/16/2007 7:21:12 AM    Landzu   Posts: 2080 Joined: 4/7/2005 From: Dallas TX Status: offline Well for those of us that will keep our Rovers no matter what fuel prices do this will help us to pick up older Land Rovers much cheaper. Oil was $ 87.50 U.S. a barrel this morning. Back in the early 90's I had person that told me that it cost more for the electricity to run the pump jack than the oil was worth so the oil co he worked for was capping wells. The bad part is that once capped off you have to redrill. Once the U.S. gets oil going good again you can bet the Middle East will turn on the cheap oil again and kill of any competition.
