Have other owners noticed that the factory Sirius radio, at least in 2006 LR3, has relatively poor recption and a lenghty pause before the content start playing after a station change? I live in a wooded area, but it's hard to drive at all for more than 1-2 miles without the station droppion out for a few seconds. It also takes approximately 2-3 seconds for the music to start playing again after I change a station. Not huge problems, but I just wanted to know if that was normal, or perhaps I have a defective unit. My other car as a $49 Audiovox aftermarket XM unit with a tiny little magnet mount antenna, and it NEVER drops out on the same roads, and station change are almost as quick as with regular FM radio. Looking at the size of the antenna on the roof of my LR3, I would have expected better out of the factory system.

Sorry I can't answer your question but I have a Sirius question. I have an 06' LR3, how can you tell if you have a factory Sirius radio? We bought it used and the used car manager told me the 06' didn't have factory Sirius.
