I'm having my wheel flares "Rhino sprayed." I figured that it would last a long time and not get dulled up as bad. Still waiting to see how much though.

I do detailing on the side tape and paint it. Simple tape the out side of the moldings and get trim black paint . Big difference than that coating crap.

Do most stores carry trim black paint? Is there a special brand that I should buy?

I must concur, Mother's Back to Black is by far the best.  I've got a '74 VW Super Beetle w/original trim.  It's cracked from neglect prior to me buying it, but other than that the rubber looks as supple as the day it rolled onto the road.
