can you help me with info about the godiva pump that is on my vehicle. its not giving full pump pressure and i need to overhaul it. would it be wise to even attempt to tackle the alloy casing considering its age ie.45 years

Most likely you will find the diaphrams inside have worn/deterioted and need replacing. The trick will be finding new ones...

Regarding the age, my 1952 landrover has had no problems with any of it's castings...
