So I've decided to buy an LR3.  I have a few questions.

1. I've heard all the horror stories about quality problems.  Why problems can I expect?
2. I've decided on an '06 V6.  What are you guys getting for gas milage (V6 vs V8)?
3. What are your overall thoughts on the V6 vs V8 (we've done all the difficult off-roading we ever plan on doing - this LR3 will only see pavement and dirt roads)?

Thanks for your help!!

Chris

My current take for ownership of cars worth >$30K - either lease new fully loaded, or buy used. Since early LR3s are not that reliable, I leased a new HSE. And even V8 seems somewhat week due to the LR3 weight, can't imagine what old V6 feels like...

I'm leaning towards a used 06 with >30k miles.

What are the relaibility issues with the LR3's?
