Anyone had problems with the 1.8i petrol Freelander? We just travelled 300 miles in hot conditions and after 200 miles the engine just faded and died on us. It would recover after a cooling period and then do it again. Not overheating and no lights on the dash, although the engine compartment was very hot. It's like fuel starvation or a blockage of some kind. Land Rover dealer could not find anything wrong. Anyone had a similar experience?
