Hi all, I have an 06 LR3 with 33500 miles on it. Today when I went for a drive with the windows open, I started hearing a strange noise from the front left side of the vehicle. The best I can describe it is like steel wool rubbing against a metal pan. The noise is not constant, but seems to be connected to the wheels, i.e. it is not present when stopped. I can only hear it at under 20 mph, but that may just be the wind masking it at higher speeds. Any ideas?

Check your brake pads, sounds like the fronts are getting low.
