Hi All - just got a Freelander - love it.

3 door 98 - 50th anniversary model.

Only one problem.....is there an easy way to remove the hardtop - ive done it once but I could not work out an easy way to do it....cant find anything in the manual... and im frightened of scratching the paintwork.

Help.....

Thanks

landyman, I take off and put on the hardtop many times. Its a easy job to do with 2 persons, I and my wife do this in about 1minute. Relese al four the levers, raise it on the back for about 15cm high and both step backwords. To put it on the same in reverse order. A piece of cake
I bought myself the shower cover, a nice item when driving without the hardtop and it starts to rain.
