Anyone ever try to swap out the headlight assembly and intall the 05's and can it be done? I like the headlight set-up of the 05's.

Yes this can be done.  There is a write-up on the Freelander forum at www.landy-zone.co.uk but beware they speak funny over there.

The Freelander Club (www.freelanderclub.co.uk) had a full write up of this in one of their magazines.
