I need a little help with setting some things on a 96 range rover 4.0. It seems I had a problem with my FOB. I recently changed my battery in the Range and the batteries in my key FOB. When I start the car the dash reads something like "RF Window not set, Lf Window not set, RR window.......LR........SunRoof........not set" (something like that) How do I stop that from coming up on the dash panel? Also key FOB won't unlock doors, I must do it manuelly with the key. When I do lock it all locks work in unison and alarm starts blinking, however right or left button on key FOB triggers nothing? Any help???

Also- "Lighting" Bad idling and stalling was corrected by changing the mass air flow sensor. (Also changed plugs and wires) She is running pretty....Thanks

Hi !

You may need a full diagnosis with the use of a "test book" by an LR dealer. (?)

Takeo.

Actually I found out what it meant through an old Rover forum. I installed new battery and the computer just wanted to reset settings. So if anyone else encounters this message you simply must roll down window all the way and then back up. Somewhere in the course of doing this the windoe re-sets and the message alert stops. You may also need to do this to the sunroof. Thanks for the reply though Takeo.

She's running pretty. Installed a new mass air flow sensor, plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter. Running very nice now.Worked out most of the "bugs". Installed new air suspension bags today but have a severe leak. Hose may not have been connected all the way. I'll find out tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed..... I'm very anxious to get her back on the road!!!!
