Original battery failed, new battery fitted. On powering up, every single light on dash is illuminated, this is irrespective of ignition key position. Vehicle is difficult to start from cold, believe heater plugs also not working. With engine running, speedo, rev counter, fuel and temperature guage inoperable. Had vehicle on code reader : result : 'inconclusive', but believe fault to be Becm. CAN ANY 1 HELP OR ADVISE A POOR BLOKE AT THE END OF HIS TETHER ? ? ? ? Cheers!

maybe a place to start. look for good connections on the battery terminal and more specifically the grounds. If the battery arched when you installed it. there could be computer fry. Check all the fuses. I don't know what type of link you used to hook it up to get the information, I would try a different sourse for the testing. With everything at once look for the grounds first. I know from experience that a poor ground can cause some really funky stuff to happen. Hope it helps, gotta love a rover. duboff./
