I took my car to a friend as it had down hill decent and traction control light on, both thought it was worn breaks we found out it was not the breaks. Any ideas of what it may be?

as the battery had to be removed to search for the reason why the light was on the radio is now asking for a code which i am unable to find in the manual, do you know where i am able to find this code or if you are able to send me the code needed??

i hope someone knows as i am fed up of no radio :(
