What is your gas mileage on your LR3?

What % do you drive city and highway?

Thanks.

What is yours, what octane gas are you using and how about your tires air pressure?

Sorry...I should have clarified.

I am in the market for an LR3 and just wanted to know what people were getting in terms of gas mileage.

My dad has an 05 HSE

100% stock

He does about half and half highway and city

City is about 14-17 mpg

Highway he usually gets between 18 and 22 it depends on the wind and how fast he's going.

I took it on a 1500 mile trip one time and averaged 19 but I was going over 85mph most of the time.

i get about the same mileage.  16-17 on the open highway, and 12-13 around town.  Overall my mpg shows 12.4 most of the time on average.  Lost about 1 mpg with 285x60x18 tires.

I get 14mpg averaged over long periods of time.  I reset it a few times and it always averages out to 14mpg after about 2 weeks of driving.

Anyone try this gizmo?  I am just curious.  For $10 bucks I am considering buying it to see if there really is a change in mpg's

I bought the little computer chip that is suppose to inhance the mpg and horsepower. When it arrived it looks more like a resistor and I am suppose to plug it into the Intake Air Temp. (IAT). I have not hooked it up yet because I can't find the two IAT wires. They seem to be part of the MAF and it is a 5-pin plug. Does anyone know which two wires of the 5 are for the IAT?

I would like to plug it on and give it a try. I figure anything improving the gas mileage is pretty good.
