OK...swapped out the old plug wires with the Magnacore wires and I think I mixed one up. It will run...but has a little skip down in the low RPM range. Can someone give me a firing order diagram?

2004 Disco. Two coil packs. As detailed as possible please. 4 across the top, 4 across the bottom, then left and right cyclinder banks. Please clarify if the diagram is looking at the engine (ie: drivers side right) or the standard left drivers side.

Please help asap!

Jeff

Excellent! I will go out and try right now!

One more question......

On the drivers side firewall, near the brake booster, there are a series of hard plastic lines attached to the firewall. The bottom one isn't attached to anything when it comes out from the side towards the engine. I don't know if I knocked something off or if it is supposed to be that way. I can't see any loose hoses anywhere.

Well  #8 and #2 were swapped. Easy fix. And a BIG THANK YOU!

Still wondering about that plastic tube.

Also, and I feel like an idiot to ask but....where the hell is the fuel filter? I have been up one side and down the other looking for it!

No Fuel filter. Just a sock on the pump in the tank.

On the hose, can you post a picture? if not, someone with an 04 will have to help you..

Just checked my '04. The plastic hose that comes from behind the booster that is NOT insulated is NOT connected to anything. Hope that helps. JF

That plastic hose is a vent, most likely for the front diff.

Whew! Thanks guys. I didn't think I nudged anything but it was tight quarters getting those wires off. One boot was cracked which I assume was the reason for my sporadic mis-fire (mostly when it rained).

Getting my 6"2" 240lbs frame up under that hood and getting my hands down there was not easy! I actually used a long aluminum tube (a rear fender support for my Meyers Manx dunebuggy, to get down there and pry the old ones off.
