i am looking for a transfercase for a 1996 Range Rover 4.0 se. also an steering stabilizer

Don't buy a used steering stabilizer, get a new Old Man Emu.

it's not safe to use a second hand stabilizer, but a new one. go check this link: truck parts, they have all sorts of car stuff.
