I want to make some skid plates for the engine tranny and transfer case. does anyone have exact measurments i would need to make them?

WHY???
Are you aware of the heat issues caused by some skid plates and how incovenent it is to be plated and work on the truck, beside the amount of lost clearance you'll have?
Where do you, and what type of trails do you run, are you lifted?

well as far as the heat issue, id prob go with aluminum. i go de md and soon nj trails. i have 3 inch suspenion and 3 body.
btw what kind of lockers are you running?

It doesn't make any difference what the plating is made from, when you restrict the air flow from undernieght the engine she will run hotter. Besides with all that lift you have if you hit something, you should recheck your line on the trail.
As for lockers, I run a rear Detroit with a front True Trac, 4:11's with HD axles.
