WELL THIS MORNING I WOKE UP STARTED UP MY DISCO WITH MY REMOTE START AND WENT OUT TO GET IN THE DISCO AND SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT WAS ON.

WENT TO AUTOZONE THEY READ THE CODES BUT DID NOT CLEAR THEM. I DIDNT ASK TO CLEAR THEM.

CODES ARE:
P 0301 - PRINT OUT SAYS: CYLINDER MISFIRE DETECTED-CYLINDER NUMBER 1 PCM HAS DETERMINED THAT A MISFIRE OCCURED IN CYL. NUM. 1.

P 1590 - NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH CIRCUIT HIGH INPUT

P 1668 - PCM - IDM COMMUNICATIONS ERROR

SO IM HOPING I NEED NEW WIRES AND PLUGS ONLY. THE DISCO HAS 79,000 MILES AND I HAVE NEVER REPLACED THE WIRES OR PLUGS. I'VE HAD IT SINCE JUNE OF 2006 WITH 49,000 MILES ON IT.

IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFO OR SUGGESTIONS

DISCO MIKE. LOL IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

The 301 fault code be either a plug or wires, the other two saults will require a mechanic to determine what is wrong.

You can't clear faults until you fix the problem.

THATS FINE. IMMA TAKE IT TO A ROVER DEALER TO GET THE PLUGS AND WIRES CHANGED.

You realy don't want to do that, the dealer will charge you around $650 plus to do that job, there are alot of cheaper ways to get a better job done.

MIKE MY DISCO IS A 2002 WITH 79000 MILES. WHAT PLUGS AND WIRES WOULD YOU RECOMMEND?
