Ok, I know I'm going the opposite way on this one but I want to add SLS to my '03 Discovery SE. It looks like the ABS module is the SLABS and the harness for the dash switch is fixed to the back of the blank but I can not find any harnesses on the frame other than 2 small connectors (like a + and - blade type) near the compressor mount. Has anyone ever done this or am I looking down a long and frustrating road. Any help or speculation would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
-T-

I have SLS and understand why you may want to add it to your truck, I wish I could be of some help for you.
If there is anything I can do get back to me.

Mike,
Thanks for the reply. Do you happen to have an idea if my ABS ecu is SLABS (or how I could find out for sure, it looks like SLABS) or just ABS and if there is a separate harness for the SLS. I can't seem to find anything definitive in either RAVE or Microcat other than apparently there is a an ABS ecu without SLS.

Yes, it is SLABs, why do you ask?
I t is going to be below 0 tomorrow morning or I would crawl under my truck and check on the harness.

I wanted to verify because on RAVE it seemed like two separate units were used but microcat showed SLABS with my vin. I pulled the picture of the SLABS in the RAVE appendix to compare to what I had and they looked the same. I had the luck of having a loaner with SLS (an '03) for a few days so naturally I crawled under there. The harnesses/plugs for the sls came out of the main wire run on top of the frame rail. I don't have any "spare" plugs laying up there, at least that I saw. Now that I know where they should be, which is where I looked the first time, I'll give it another and better look. If no "plugs" are there for the compressor I wonder if the wires are still in there, just insulated but it seems as if the Plugs/harness are usually there.

After having the loaner with SLS I'm now more determined than ever.
