Sounds like to a fuse to me because all of those things that arent working sound pretty random, they all could have a fuse in common. Is your stereo not playing or not turning on period?

well actually, at first it wouldn't turn on. I know this sounds dumb but the lights kindaa flicker on and off but the whole thing has yet to light up. just some of the buttons I'm thinking I have to have a bad connection somewhere. Also the clock and lights didn't all quit at once? first I noticed the clock was not keeping proper time. then, I got that straight(I thought) and the lights didn't come on when I opened the door. what have I gotten into now!! ???

recheck the grounds, specific to the unit you installed. It may be the link to all the other systems that are effective. hope it helps. gotta love a rover. duboff

if your radio doesn't work either check the fuse in the radio amplifier. mine is under the dash on the passenger side. it took me a while to figure that one out...
