Any quiet aftermarket mufflers that will bolt right in place on a 99 Disco Series I? Mine has some rust & will need a replacement soon. Thanks.

If you can stand the noise, I went with no muffler on my 95 Disco. It's not too loud and adds a lot more power.

You do mean the muffler, not the resinator, right? The resinator can be cut of and you get a little more clearance and a nice mellow sound. I have not heard anything about replacing the muffler with something quiet, most people want NOISE. Mike

You can opt for a stock replacement but the only company that I know that makes a bolt in Exhaust for the DII is Borla. It has a million mile warranty but its around $500. Rover Connection and Atlantic British has them in stock.

When I removed mine, I just took it off with a hack saw, usually good to put a short extension on afterwards so you don't suck fumes into the truck. Made a nice mellow sound difference.
