Hey guys, do any of you know where i can find a used land rover discovery engine? and what price range i am looking at to get it?

ebay. had a couple. the price is going to depend on the mileage. they were running between 1500-3000. the last I looked. There is a new and used parts supplier list on the faq. section of the forum. Just for grins there is a conversion kit on the market for a small block chevy. might want to take a look. the question of the conversion has been on the forum and there are some opinions that you might want to read. also check the mods section. Just for grins, the land rover motor has it's origins in the g.m. line. hope it helps, gotta love a rover. duboff

I have a 4.0 liter bosch shortblock with heads I can let go for 1200. Heads are rebuilt and block has 16,000 miles on it (converted my friends truck to a 4.6 liter)
heads are installed with new gaskets and valley gasket is included with set. All you need is cam, lifters and front cover to make it a long block
