hi, looking were to buy five michelin XZL's in size 7.50 R16 and how much lift do i need to fit them under a discovery II? thanks

Any 2"OME lift or RTE 2" should be more then enough.

Yeah, 2" is plenty. I run Goodyear G90's sometimes in 7.50x16. Needed a bit of rear fender trimming on my D1, probably not on a DII.

Why would you want to run them on your Disco, they will beat you to death and there certainly are many other sizes that will give you more traction off road?

Actually the G90's are one of the best off-road I've ever used. Sadly they suck for longevity if you run them on tarmac. But I typically run load range D or E tires. My next set will probably be another set of Cooper STT's.
