The insurance company just declared my '99 D2 a total loss. It has 120k miles. Good shape (new brakes, steers straight, no big issues other than a slowly leaking head gasket to the outside and leaky valve covers) minus the recent cosmetic damage. It was in a low speed accident on an icy hill, resulting in the front fenders being crinkeled, along with some damage to most doors and right side rear quarter. Front bumper also cracked, entire rear is still perfect. Hood undamaged, all glass good. Still runs fine, and all doors open and shut good. Black with tan leather interior, Harmon Kardon sounds, HDC, SD7 with recent coil spring conversion, new radiator.
A quality local body shop quoted a $5300 price tag, which I can't afford so I'm thinking of parting it out to those on the forum.
Any takers for the engine and everything else? I cant wrench and don't have the time to pack and ship so all interested parties will need to come to the Los Angeles area (Redondo Beach). I need responses by tomorrow moring if possible. Call Brian at 310-408-1326. Thanks
