Ah ok.  Have you tried resetting the tilt function?  It may still be 'tilting' but the TILT position is the same as the normal position, or vice versa.

Alright..what about the mirror itself? Does it still have power control?  It might have shorted out and needs to be rewired

I''m having the same problem now.  I let my wife drive the range for one week, now none of my mirrors are tilting.  What is this reset tilt function?  I might need to do that.

To 4.4Range: 

What year is your Range Rover? If it is 2003-2005, then your mirror selector switch might be in the pass. side position. Switch it to the driver''s side and then see if you have reverse dip. On these years, putting it to the pass. side turns off the tilt function.
