Hey there all, I'm new to the forum and just indroducing myself. I'm the father of two beautiful children and husband to a gorgeous wife. A girl here at my work is selling me her 2002 Land Rover Discovery HSE with ~75000 miles on it for $9500. She and her husband are out of town and my wife and I are watching their kids for the next week. I have possesion of the vechicle for the week in order to transport their kids along with ours to and from school. I figure it is the opportune time to check the vehicle out throughly. This is the first time I have visited this site and not sure how it works. I'm looking for information on routience maintenance and things to check before the purchase of such a vehicle. If you guys could just point me in the right direction (as far as where to find the info), I can go and research myself. Thanks and hopefully, I'll be a permanent member around here!

Take care,
Jason

I own a 1992 300zx TT and do all the work myself, so I have a good sense of mechanical know-how. I'll have the time to research the forum further, but was just looking for write-ups on general maintenance on the Land Rover.
