I'm in Marion (about a 40 minute drive east of Asheville).  A lot of people in my family went to NC State, but I went to Appalachian State, the same one that won the national football championship 3 years in a row, and beat some team up in Michigan last year.   Camdisco, my Rover is now over at Tony's (Torque Motorworks) getting new wires, etc., trying to get it running on all cylinders again.  Having Tony around is good when you own a Disco.  I hope there's somebody like that in Raleigh when you move. _____________________________ DIFFERENT DRUMMER 2003 Land Rover Discovery SE7 (Dark Gray) 2003 Volkswagen New Beetle Convertible (Orange) 2008 Royal Enfield Bullet Electra Motorcycle (Red) (in reply to Camdisco24) Post #: 11

And he does the best job around. RE: Whose from NC? - 4/22/2008 12:33:35 PM    unstable   Posts: 166 Joined: 4/20/2008 Status: offline I was stationed at "Swamp Lagoon" (Lejeune) from 97-2001.  North Carolina was a pretty nice place...aside from some of those backroads.  I know many a people who died driving in those parts. How ya coming finding trails out there? I''ve got a 96 LR Disco lifted with Super Swamper IROK ND''s on it. There are places we play around here, mostly power line access roads. Huffman forest used to be the place to go around here before the hunters complained to much so that is out. I''ve been wanting to go to Uwharrie with either the LR or my Jeep but neither have a rear locker and I think it would be tough navigating without one there. I have been there riding both atv''s and motorcycles so I know the terrain is tough for a vehicle. Drop me a line. (in reply to unstable) Post #: 19
