Here's my story. My wife is pregnant and to save money I'm getting rid of my 2007 FJ Cruiser so we will only have 1 car payment. My uncle knows a guy who has a 1994 Land Rover Discovery that is in great condition with 77,000 miles on it and he is selling it for $3,500.00. I love the look of the Discovery, but I know nothing about them. Would this be a good vehicle as a daily driver for a while? I don't have a long commute to work so I will be putting low miles on it with some off road. I'm going to pick up the car saturday to drive it for a few days, what do I need to look for when I drive it and look it over? I've read mixed reviews reference the older Disco's. All of the information and advice would be greatly appreciated.
