Hello all, I am brand new to this forum and i joined because i am looking at a used range rover and i have some questions. I found a 88' range rover for sale for a great price, i went and looked at it last nite and its real clean. The only problem is that the battery was dead. I went to jump the battery and it started up perfectly. The owner said it wont hold a charge. I was sitting in the driver seat and i could hear an intermittent crackling coming from inside the door panel. The rr has power windows/ locks. I am just guseeing here, but could there be an exposed wire that is creating a draw from the battery and all i have to do is fix that and problem solve? I was wondering if any of you have had any problems similar to this. I don't know alot about cars but i think i can fix this problem if its just a bare wire. any thougts? thanks guys!
