My Disco's in the shop for a few items, I have LR extended warranty.  They're fixing a valley pan gasket leak, bad window regulator, etc.  I've also had a minor leak at both windsheild posts for some time when it rains pretty hard, but now it's happening all the time.  I checked the sunroof drains, it's not that.  I think it's the windsheild seal, but that isn't covered by warranty and they want $147 just to pull the headliner and test it.  Anyone tried some sealant at the corners of the windshield w/ success?

I have. I had a slight leak and toasted my fuse box. I put a bead of sealant all the way around the windhield at it has been fine for about 6 months now. I also put a small bead around the seal for the sunroof on my old Volvo and it held for 2 years just fine. Make sure and get the good black stuff made for windshields and you should be ok. Try it and see first, then you can dish out the cash later if it doesn't work...

cool, I may actually try that.  I'm a perfectionist though, so if I can't make it look OEM I may just replace the seal.  Anyone ever had the windshield seal replaced and know the $$$?
