Excellent idea, wiring the same or similar, but plug-in different. You'll just have to cut the plug-ins from the original fog lights, and put them on the new ones. Unless the 2003 ones are different and use the same plug-ins. But my experience with the Land Rover safari 5000 lights is that the pug-ins are different.

Hey thanks, So the wiring is def not the same, but I only have one fog light left after busting the bumper so can I purchase the wiring connector or create a new adapter for the 03 foglight conversion? Forgive me my ignorance on this issue but I dont do electrical very well, I usually just end up shocking myself or shorting something out. :) SO any and all help would be greatly appreciated

Here is a link for aftermarket D2B fogs. One thing to consider is that the bumper has mounting holes for these lights that chamfer back a little. Might look into putting a 2003/2003 bumper on. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33709&viewitem=&item=170193622443&_trksid=p3907.m29 You can just cut the connectors from your fog lights and solder in the new wires...

Yeah, those lights def work and are pretty cheap, so if I break that set off road I will not feel so bad. Ha, well I have justified chopping up my bumper by calling it a kalahari job, semi-saudi if you will., well whatever gets ya thru doing stupid crap off road and having to pay for it later. But hey, if anyone has any other ideas or an opinion on my chop job, please let me know, as I am leary to start hacking away just yet so fire away at me!
