HI GUYS.I WOULD LIKE TO CHANGE MY POWER STEERING FLUID TO VALVOLINE, SYNTHETIC AS DISCO MIKE RECOMENDS.TO FLUSH THE SYSTEM ,IS IT DONE THE TURKEY BASTER WAY OR IS IT DONE DIFFERENTLY.PLEASE ADVISE.THANKS!

I removed one of my power steering lines and stuck it into a gallon jug.
Have someone start the trk and keep the resvoir full of the PS fluid that you want to put in.
Once the fluid comes out nice and clean turn off the engine and reattach the PS hose and top off the resavoir.
Have a couple jugs with you just incase.

Or my way with a turkey baster type device, I just like removing lines and the potential mess left.
Suck out the old fluid, fill with new fluid, start the engine turning full left and right, turn of the engine and repeat 3 times.

CAN IT BE DONE TURKEY BASTER STYLE EVEN IF I CHANGE FROM CONVENTIONAL TO SYNTEC?IT
