hi all:

just got a 2004 Disco SE last sunday (silver w/ black interior, 41K miles, totally spot-less) here in sacramento

i have always wanted a LR since growing up in SoCal and doing Baja surf vacations in my VW's in the late 60's/70's (back then i wanted a nice white 110), but alas

this one is for my youngest (17 y.o. son) as i had bought cars for his two older sisters (now i'm clear of that "obligation")

we plan on taking the LR course down in Carmel sometime this year for a bit of "immersion-therapy" (actually so my son will know what he has), so if anyone has done the same woud love to hear about it

am also looking forward to all the collective knowledge in these forums

that's it for now, will post more later, for right now i have to run over to the dealer

b/c the rig is in the shop as last night, my son called on the way home from school and said the damn thing over-heated!!!

note: we're still on the tank of gas that the dealer put in last sunday

hmmm ... bad omen? ... or maybe that's the real immersion-therapy?!?!
