I am looking at replacing the u-joints in the front-drive shaft of my 03 disco.I have a drive line shop that will do the work. The shop needs the shaft for three days to rebuild it. Can i drive the vehicle without a front drive-shaft?

Luv2Disco, thanks again for calling the shop. Who did you talk to at Coast Driveline--do you recall? I'm still trying to decide whether to buy the Tom Wood's or try to get Coast to rebuild my shaft.

Looking into the entire front Driveshaft replacement for my 2004 SE with 80k. Having a hard time finding someone to do the rebuild in my neck of the woods (Alton Bay, NH). It appears no one wants to mess with my Rover? Have an e-mail into the Driveshaft Superstore, hopefully they can help me out.
